A $20 ticket shows as $20.95 plus card processing. You receive the full $20.
Absorb it
Buyers pay $20 even. The $0.95 fee comes out of the sale.
Card processing is billed by Stripe, Square, or Authorize.Net, directly to your merchant account.

How billing works
What does TazTix charge?
$0.95 per ticket sold, with no monthly fee. The fee is the same on a $10 student ticket and a $100 VIP ticket.
Is card processing included?
No. Your processor — Stripe, Square, or Authorize.Net — bills card processing directly to your merchant account. The TazTix platform fee is separate.
Can buyers pay the fees instead of us?
Yes. Pass platform and card fees through to buyers, or absorb them, for each event or each ticket type. Buyers see the total with fees on the event page before checkout.
Do free events or comp tickets cost anything?
The platform fee applies to paid tickets. Talk to us about large free events or heavy comp volume so we can set them up the right way.
Is there a fee in months we do not sell tickets?
No. There is no subscription. A summer with no events costs nothing.
How do payouts work?
Ticket money settles to your own Stripe, Square, or Authorize.Net account on your processor's schedule. TazTix does not hold your sales in a platform balance.
Can a booster club, PTA, or league use its own account?
Yes. Each location in your organization connects its own processor, so every group's money goes to its own account.
Do schools and nonprofits get a different rate?
The rate on this page applies to everyone. If you run a high volume of events, talk to us about a custom agreement.
